Job summary

HD Fire Protect is seeking a diligent production assembly supervisor to oversee all assembly processes up to packing in our Jalgaon facility. You will ensure adherence to the 15-day schedule, manage ERP-based job work orders, coordinate with PPC, stores, machine shop, paint shop and inspection departments, and train operators for new and existing processes.

This role emphasizes quality control, stock reconciliation, and IMS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all assembly processes up to Packing.
• Responsible for Pre-action, Skids & Cabinets, RC Monitor, Pre-Assembled Valves, and product assembly activities.
• Follow & achieve the 15-day production schedule, analyze causes for delays as applicable.
• Prepare job work orders in ERP for material required for the products planned, receive and verify material issue from stores against job work order.
• Follow up with PPC and stores for shortages. Maintain FIFO.
• Ensure that special product requirements of orders like MOC are fulfilled.
• Allocate, segregate, and keep material for Third party inspection to fulfill the weekly TPI schedule.
• After completion of assembly, close job order to transfer the product to assembly shop WIP in ERP after packing.
• Coordinate with PPC, stores, machine shop, paint shop, and inspection departments for timely execution of orders.
• Provide training and development of operators to ensure proper execution of existing and new processes/products.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly production reports, serial number allocation report; preserve daily production reports.
• Schedule workers’ shifts and maintain attendance records.
• Monitor assembled products for defects or errors and correct accordingly.
• Keep track of assembly process progress to ensure order completion on time.
• Take physical closing stock of shop monthly and carry out stock reconciliation with ERP stock.
• Daily monitor the job work orders and close them on time.
• Interpret & implement engineering GAD.
• Display daily checklist and preventive maintenance chart on machines.
• Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports as instructed to you.
• Display area-wise Production loading and update weekly.
• Update WIP statement regularly and verify physically each month.
• Face IMS audit, manage & implement corrective actions on NCs, observations, OFIs; investigate quality problems and root causes, prepare CARs.
• Maintain, update, and improve Assembly IMS documentation and pursuit of objectives and targets.

• - Maintaining, updating, and improvement of the Assembly III IMS system documentation, fulfillment and achievement of objectives and targets.
