Job summary

Acumen360 Consulting & HR Solutions is looking for a Production Supervisor in Vadodara, India, responsible for developing production plans and managing shopfloor operations. The ideal candidate should have a B.E. Mechanical degree and 3 to 7 years of experience in supervision with a strong background in assembly or engineering industries. Proficiency in SAP and strong English communication skills are essential for efficiently coordinating with teams and managing material flows.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of experience in supervision/shopfloor operations.
• Background in Assembly, Motor Assembly, Automobile, Textile, or Engineering industries.
• Experience managing shopfloor workforce of 40–50 personnel.

Responsibilities

• Develop production plans and schedules to achieve daily and monthly targets.
• Prepare workstation-wise assembly plans on a daily basis.
• Manage manpower deployment based on production priorities.
• Control material flow and inventory to maximize available resources.
• Track shortage and missing parts from plant arrival to machine dispatch.
• Monitor project timelines, productivity, cost, and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with PPC for dispatch planning based on material availability.
• Coordinate with outbound team for SAP loading list and smooth dispatch execution.
• Configure packing lists in SAP as per BOM requirements.
• Maintain daily production sheets and production loss reports.
• Prepare operator skill matrix based on capability mapping.
• Drive 5S implementation and awareness on the shopfloor.
• Prepare SOPs and JDs for newly developed assemblies.
