Job summary

Leadec is seeking an Assembly Maintenance Electrical technician in Tamil Nadu to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems on SPM machines. You will handle PLC/SCADA controls, VFDs and motors, and work on hydraulic/pneumatic circuits with attention to safety and documentation.

Responsibilities include regular preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and collaboration with engineering to improve system reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in electrical systems for assembly machinery.
• Ability to read hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and machine drawings.
• Experience with electrical maintenance on EMS, conveyors, presses and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems on SPM machines.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance for assembly area equipment.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical/electrical faults in complex systems.
• Maintain service logs and reports on maintenance and incidents.
• Ensure safety compliance and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve reliability and performance.
• Read hydraulic/pneumatic schematics and assembly drawings.

Role & responsibilities

Assembly Maintenance Electrical:

• 1. Knowledge in VFD & Motors & HMI & Ladder logic ensures the operational integrity of SPM machines by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, components, and control systems like PLCs and SCADA
• 2. Troubleshoots major equipment malfunctions or failures; Starts up and shuts down facilities of electrical equipments,
• 3. Manufacturing maintenance provides mechanical or electrical service on various types of machines or equipment, such as EMS, Conveyor, Pressing machine, Nutrunner, Testing machine, Marking machine,process equipment, instrumentation, automation, controls, electromechanical devices,
• 4. Conducting regular preventative maintenance on all assembly area machines to ensure optimal performance.
• 5. Identifying and resolving system failures by troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical problems.
• 6. Maintaining service logs and reports on all maintenance, breakdowns, and repairs.
• 7. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
• 8. Work with engineering teams to improve reliability and performance of systems.
• 9. Able to read Hydraluic and pnumatic circuits, Machine assembly drawings, etc.
