Job summary

People, Jobs, and News is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager for Lucknow/UP to drive regional sales and business development in the uPVC/building materials space. You will manage fabricators, architects, interior designers, builders and project stakeholders, expanding the fabricator network and generating project enquiries.

You will strengthen relationships with architects and designers, onboard new fabricators, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure project execution and sales

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Channel Sales, or Project Sales.
• Experience in uPVC or building materials industry preferred.
• Proven ability to manage fabricators, architects, interior designers, builders and channel partners.
• Strong knowledge of B2B Sales, Channel Management, Project Sales and Specification Sales.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and strengthen relationships with fabricators and channel partners in the assigned territory.
• Identify, develop and onboard new fabricators to support market expansion and sales growth.
• Build relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, Developers, and other project stakeholders.
• Conduct regular meetings with architects and interior designers to generate product specifications and project opportunities.
• Generate and track project enquiries and support fabricators in converting opportunities into business.
• Drive specification sales by promoting products to architects, consultants, and key decision-makers.
• Conduct quarterly meetings, presentations, and engagement activities with Architects and Interior Designers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new project opportunities within the region.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to regional growth.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure effective customer support and project execution.
• Maintain regular MIS, sales reports, market updates, and pipeline reports.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive sales and business development in the assigned region. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the uPVC or building materials industry, with a proven ability to manage and develop fabricators, architects, interior designers, builders, and project stakeholders.

The primary focus of this role is to strengthen relationships with architects and manage the existing fabricator network while expanding the market by onboarding new fabricators and generating project enquiries.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 6–9 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Channel Sales, or Project Sales.
• Experience in the uPVC industry is preferred.
• Candidates from Building Materials, Construction Materials, Architectural Products, Doors & Windows, Aluminium, Glass, Hardware, or related industries may also be considered.
• Proven experience in managing fabricators, dealers, channel partners, architects, interior designers, and builders.
• Strong knowledge of B2B Sales, Channel Management, Project Sales, and Specification Sales.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
