Job summary

Premier Tissues India Ltd. is seeking a seasoned sales leader to oversee an entire state’s sales, distribution, and marketing initiatives in the FMCG sector.

You will strategize, plan, and execute distributor and retailer networks, driving primary and secondary sales while maintaining budgetary discipline. The role requires 7–10 years of FMCG experience, proven revenue responsibility for a state, and a track record of leading high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• Graduation or MBA from a reputed institute.
• 7–10 years of experience in FMCG sales.
• Experience handling state revenue responsibility and leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire sales for the state, including distribution and BTL activities.
• Plan and execute distributor and retailer networks; drive primary and secondary sales.
• Set and exceed regional targets; develop innovative schemes for distributors and retailers.
• Lead sales and marketing within budget while ensuring financial hygiene across the territory.
• Provide inputs on product, packaging, and pricing; share insights with leadership.
• Collaborate with regional leadership for category insights and competitive intelligence.
• Share best practices in sales and distribution; support supply chain estimation inputs.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire Sales for the State. Strategies, Support and help execute distribution & BTL Activities


• Strategies Plan and Execute the distributor and Retailer network for the region and improve primary and secondary sales. Develop newer markets in the region


• Set and Exceed Targets for the region and team. Drive and Develop innovative schemes for the Distributors and Retailers.


• Leading Sales and Marketing of products in the assigned territory within the budgeted cost .and maintaining financial hygiene across the territory.


• Provide inputs to the Functional leadership teams on product, packaging & pricing decisions.


• Being a part of the Leadership team of the Region, to provide Category insights basis superior category understanding, region specific industry dynamics and competitive intelligence.


• To be the lead resource in assimilating, sharing & replication of best practices in Sales & Distribution basis internal and external learning.


• Coordinate and ensure quality of Estimation as a key input to the Supply chain management process.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduation/MBA from an institute of repute with 7-10 years of experience.


• Should have managed a state with revenue responsibility and have lead a team.


• Should have proven expertise in Sales and Distribution, particular to FMCG Industry and should have grown revenues pertaining to a state.
