Job summary

Getinge in Bengaluru, Karnataka is seeking a Medical Devices Sales Professional to cover the assigned area. You will drive sales, manage distributors, and engage with hospitals and stakeholders to meet targets.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in Medical Devices sales, a strong ability to communicate and present, and the capacity to track tenders and forecast sales accurately. The position is based on-site in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science is required.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Devices sales experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 100% coverage of the assigned area and meet daily call plans.
• Track sales, tenders, and future equipment projects.
• Meet key customers and stakeholders; prepare reports and forecasts with accuracy.
• Monitor competitor activities and support sales growth with product specialists.
• Manage distributor relationships and ensure distributor performance.
• Ensure payment collection and adherence to policies.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

• Ensure 100% coverage of the assigned area.
• Meeting daily call plans & weekly / monthly targets.
• Track new equipment projects, tenders’ enquiries and its execution.
• Identify business opportunities and evaluate prospects in respective product lines of Surgical workplaces portfolio consisting of (MOT, OTT, OTL, ICE, ICC, DHS Portfolio and other products as decided from time to time).
• Monitor upcoming equipment/consumables requirements in existing hospitals and understand the purchase process.
• Meeting all key customers and stakeholders.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing funnel and sales forecasting with accuracy.
• Monitor Competitor activities in the assigned area.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending various training programs.
• Work along with the product specialists, therapy application specialists, and ensure sales growth.
• Attend commercial and technical meetings, submit offers and other desired documents.
• Achieve the desired goals of the area.
• Reporting and feedback to the supervisor.
• Ensure payment collection.
• Adhere to policies and procedures strictly.

Distribution Management:

Responsible for the day-to-day management of distributors, ensuring they are supported to achieve optimal performance. Regularly monitor and review distributor performance, identify coverage or capability gaps, and drive corrective actions, including the appointment of new distributors wherever required.

• Bachelors degree in Engineering/Science. Management qualification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience of Medical Devices sales.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
