Job summary

Kia India is hiring for the Area Sales Manager role for the Bangalore location. Ideal candidates should hold an Engineering or MBA degree with experience in the Passenger Car industry working with direct OEMs.

The position involves managing sales volumes, monitoring dealer performance, developing channels, forecasting market trends, and coordinating with financers and insurers for market development activities. Three positions are available.

Qualifications

• Regular degree in Engineering or MBA.
• 4 to 11 years of experience in Passenger Car industry with direct OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Achieve target sales volumes and market share.
• Monitor and review sales performance of territories.
• Conduct team meetings and develop channels.
• Track inventory at distributor locations and stock returns.
• Ensure availability of quality enablers at dealerships.
• Expand customer base by identifying new segments and opportunities.
• Ensure timely and quality forecasts from dealerships.
• Perform regular performance analysis of dealerships and propose corrective actions.
• Communicate policies and initiatives to dealerships and ensure adherence.
• Coordinate with financers and insurance companies for market development.
• Meet customers to gather feedback, understand expectations and resolve complaints.
• Provide timely market feedback to RSM and HO on competition, regulations and business aspects.
