Job summary

RAY Talent Solutions is seeking an Area Manager for Bangalore/Bengaluru to drive sales across multiple stores, oversee daily operations, and lead a performance-driven team. You will monitor KPIs, uphold SOPs, and optimize inventory while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in Retail Sales Operations with multi-store leadership, strong analytical and stakeholder skills, and a track record in FMCG or consumer retail sectors.

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 years of experience in Retail Sales Operations.
• At least 3 years in a multi-store management role.
• Experience in FMCG or Fashion, Apparel, Jewellery, Lifestyle, Beauty or Consumer Retail.

• Drive Sales Performance: Achieve sales targets, improve store productivity, and monitor key retail KPIs.

Area Manager - Bangalore

• Drive Sales Performance: Achieve sales targets, improve store productivity, and monitor key retail KPIs such as Sales, Conversion, ATV, UPT, and Footfall.
• Lead Multi-Store Operations: Manage day-to-day operations across multiple stores, ensuring adherence to SOPs, visual merchandising standards, and inventory controls.
• Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train and motivate Store Managers and Store Associates to build high-performing teams and improve employee engagement.
• Customer Experience: Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service, handle escalations, and build a customer-centric culture across all stores.
• Business & Inventory Management: Analyze sales reports, monitor inventory levels, reduce stock ageing, plan promotions, and implement action plans to improve business performance.

Preferred Experience

• 6 to 12 years of experience in Retail Sales Operations, with at least 3 years in a multi-store management role.
• Experience in preferred in FMCG sector or Fashion, Apparel, Jewellery, Lifestyle, Beauty or Consumer Retail .
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
