Job summary

PeopleStrong invites applications for the Area Recovery Manager – Secured & Unsecured Lending. The role focuses on delinquency reduction and early resolution, monitoring accounts daily, and driving collections across secured and unsecured portfolios.

You will lead a small team, train staff, and coordinate with Muthoot Fincorp branches to smoothen collections. Tamil/English communication required; 2-wheeler license preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in collection with 3+ years and 2 years of on-roll team management.
• Knowledge of secured/unsecured lending collections and product movement.
• Excellent Tamil/English verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delinquency reduction across assigned portfolio.
• Early resolution with normalization of accounts.
• Monitor accounts on a daily basis.
• Engage delinquent borrowers through calls and field collections.
• Lead, train and develop collection staff.
• Collaborate with Muthoot Fincorp branches to streamline collections.

Area Recovery Manager – Secured & Unsecured Lending Business

Grade: 4

Employment Type: Collection - Secured & Unsecured Lending Business

Reporting to – Designation & Grade: Area Manager

Main Tasks & Areas of Responsibility

• Delinquency reduction.
• Earlier resolution with normalization.
• Monitor accounts on daily basis
• Connecting with delinquent borrowers via various methods ( including but not limited to phone calls & field collections)
• Responsible for team building and training collection staffs
• To Work closely with Muthoot Fincorp branches for the smoother part of collection.

Skills and Exposure

• A result-oriented individual with Positive Mental Attitude with Integrity, willing to put hard work.
• Proven ability to Handle difficult customer.
• Should have the knowledge of other products movement in the market.
• At least 3 years’ experience in collection with 2 years of On roll team members.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Ability to Work & Deliver business targets under pressure.
• Be Accountable for Portfolio Quality of the Location.

Other Requirements (If any)

Should have the license with vehicle (2-wheeler).
