Job summary

PeopleStrong in India is seeking an Area Recovery Manager to lead secured and unsecured lending collections in the region. You will drive delinquency reduction, oversee daily account monitoring, and coordinate field collections with branch teams to accelerate normalization.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in collections, strong people management, and excellent communication skills. You should be willing to travel as required and mentor a on-roll team to consistently achieve business targets

Responsibilities

• Delinquency reduction and earlier resolution with normalization.
• Daily account monitoring and tracking.
• Contact delinquent borrowers via phone calls and field collections.
• Build and train collection staff for performance.
• Collaborate with branches for smoother collections and target delivery.
• Be accountable for portfolio quality of the location.

Area Recovery Manager – Secured & Unsecured Lending Business

Reporting to – Area Manager

Main Tasks & Areas of Responsibility

• Delinquency reduction.
• Earlier resolution with normalization.
• Monitor accounts on daily basis
• Connecting with delinquent borrowers via various methods ( including but not limited to phone calls & field collections)
• Responsible for team building and training collection staffs
• To Work closely with Muthoot Fincorp branches for the smoother part of collection
• Skills and Exposure
• A result-oriented individual with Positive Mental Attitude with Integrity, willing to put hard work.
• Proven ability to Handle difficult customer.
• Should have the knowledge of other products movement in the market.
• At least 3 years’ experience in collection with 2 years of On roll team members.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Ability to Work & Deliver business targets under pressure.

Be Accountable for Portfolio Quality of the Location.
