Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an Area Recovery Manager for Secured & Unsecured Lending. The role reports to the Area Manager and focuses on delinquency reduction, early resolution, and daily account monitoring across branches.

The candidate should have 3+ years in collections, including 2 years in on-roll team leadership, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Some travel will be required to align with branch operations.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to handle difficult customers.
• Knowledge of market movement for other products.
• At least 3 years of collection experience with 2 years of on-roll team management.

Responsibilities

• Reduce delinquency and improve collection outcomes.
• Resolve issues early to normalize accounts.
• Monitor accounts on a daily basis.
• Engage delinquent borrowers via calls and field collections.
• Lead and train collection staff and build a strong team.
• Coordinate with Muthoot Fincorp branches for smoother collections.
• Be accountable for portfolio quality of the location.

Reporting to – Area Manager

Main Tasks & Areas of Responsibility

• Delinquency reduction.
• Earlier resolution with normalization.
• Monitor accounts on daily basis
• Connecting with delinquent borrowers via various methods ( including but not limited to phone calls & field collections)
• Responsible for team building and training collection staffs
• To Work closely with Muthoot Fincorp branches for the smoother part of collection
• Skills and Exposure
• A result-oriented individual with Positive Mental Attitude with Integrity, willing to put hard work.
• Proven ability to Handle difficult customer.
• Should have the knowledge of other products movement in the market.
• At least 3 years’ experience in collection with 2 years of On roll team members.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Ability to Work & Deliver business targets under pressure.
