Job summary

Mahindra Finance is seeking a result-oriented collections leader to drive bad debt recovery across the designated geography. You will manage delinquency, NPA, write-off and charge-off processes, coordinating internal teams and external agencies to meet recovery targets.

You will oversee portfolio monitoring, MIS reporting, and ensure all activities comply with regulations and company policy, while handling customer escalations with professionalism.

Qualifications

Experience in bad debt collection, recovery strategies and NPA handling.
Proven ability to lead collections teams and external agencies.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and code of conduct.

Responsibilities

Manage bad debt and delinquency recovery across the assigned geography.
Achieve collection targets and monitor performance against KPIs.
Lead and develop collection teams, including agencies and vendors.
Oversee portfolio monitoring, MIS reporting, and data-driven decisions.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalations and ensure compliance.

Job description

The candidate is expected to manage and drive bad debt, delinquent, NPA, write-off and charge-off collections across the assigned geography. He / She will be responsible for achieving recovery targets, managing collection teams and agencies, controlling portfolio delinquency, improving recovery efficiency and ensuring that all collection activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirement and the prescribed Code of Conduct.
