Job summary

Concentrix is hiring an Application Support Engineer I (TCF) in Bangalore to provide hands-on server and application support for the Trade Portal ecosystem. You will troubleshoot issues, perform RCA analyses, and coordinate withTesting and Development teams to ensure smooth deployments and reliable operations.

Responsibilities include investigating production problems, reproducing issues in test environments, validating fixes in UAT/Prod, and supporting OS, WebSphere, and Oracle migrations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Linux and Oracle environments.
• Ability to perform manual deployment and verify in multiple environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and fix application issues.
• Root cause analysis to identify underlying problems and preventive measures.
• Experience with AWS Cloud support is a plus and beneficial for deployment scenarios.
• Maintain thorough documentation of issues, resolutions, and workarounds.
• Coordinate with Testing and Development teams to ensure smooth handoffs and successful releases.

Responsibilities

• Investigate low severity production problems in Trade Portal app with thorough analysis.
• Reproduce issues in test environment, analyze, determine and attempt resolutions.
• Test fixes related to Trade Portal in UAT, Standby and Production.
• Assist in installation and configuration of Trade Portal across environments (UAT/Standby/Prod).
• Support maintenance of Trade Portal (preventive and adaptive) as required.
• Support testing of fixes or migrations for OS/WebSphere/Oracle in UAT/Production.
• Coordinate with DBA for database-related issues and recommended solutions.
• Coordinate with Server/Storage/Network teams for resource monitoring (CPU, memory) of App and DB servers.
• Assist planned activities like server moves, DR drills, etc. for Trade Portal and related apps.

Roles and Responsibility Hands on experience in :

• Investigate low severity production problems in Trade Portal application (i.e. alternative or work around is available) which involves considerable analysis.
• Recreate problem related to Trade Portal app in test environment, analysis, determination & attempted resolution.
• Testing fixes related to Trade Portal application in UAT, Standby and Production
• Support Trade Portal application installation & configuration in multiple environments from time to time (UAT/Standby/Production)
• Support Trade Portal application maintenance (preventive & adaptive) as required.
• Support the testing of any fix or version migration related to OS/ Web Sphere /Oracle in UAT/Production
• Co-ordination with DBA on issues related to Database and work on recommended solutions.
• Co-ordination with Server/Storage/Network teams for resource monitoring like CPU, memory usages etc. of the App and DB servers. Take up application fine-tuning activities.
• Provide application support for any planned activity like server movements (UAT/Prod/DR), DR Drills, etc. of Trade Portal application and other interfaced/impacted/related applications.
• Participation in discussion reg. the CR's/SFR's in Release Control Board meeting, OS/DB baseline reviews, etc., if required
• Add more issues/resolutions in the KB document for the DPC support team.
• Handling of any adhoc data/queries required by BTG, IT, Management, regulatory, etc. related to Trade Portal application.
