Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking an L2 Application Support professional in Mumbai to ensure continuous operation of business applications for the Electric vehicle Charging/Energy domain. You will deliver level 2 support, monitor SLAs, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into IT solutions.

The role requires 2-5 years of L2 operation support experience, strong Oracle/SQL skills, and a solid understanding of ITIL and data delivery processes within a DevOps-like SDLC environment.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in IT/CS from a reputed institute.
• 2-5 years of experience in L2 operation support.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and service delivery supporting business applications.
• Experience with Oracle/SQL databases and data extraction.
• Understanding of ETL and middleware technologies.
• Ability to interact with business stakeholders and document requirements.
• Familiarity with SDLC and DevOps environments.

Responsibilities

• Have good understanding of the Electric vehicle Charging/ Energy business processes, functions, KPIs and IT solutions.
• Ensure business continuity and high availability of business applications as per SLA
• Provide level 2 support to the business applications as per SLA
• Investigate problem trends, identify root cause of problems and suggest possible solutions to business
• Ensure on time delivery of business data requirements

• Have good understanding of the Electric vehicle Charging/ Energy business processes, functions, business drivers/ KPIs and IT solutions.
• Ensure business continuity and high availability of business applications as per SLA
• Provide level 2 support to the business applications as per SLA
• Investigate problem trends, identify root cause of problems and suggest possible solutions to business
• Ensure on time delivery of business data requirements

Skills Required (Knowledge And Skills)

• Understanding Business capabilities, Business Processes and Technology Landscape
• In depth understanding and experience of supporting portal applications
• In depth understanding and experience of working on Oracle/ SQL database
• Ability to write the custom queries and stored procedures in DB to retrieve data as per business requirement
• Understanding of ETL, Middleware technology
• Ability to interact with Business stakeholders
• Presentation and documentation skills
• Understanding of IT Service management framework, processes (ITIL)
• Understanding of Software Delivery Life Cycle with Waterfall as Agile methodology in DevOps Environment

Key Attributes (Experience And Qualifications)

• Graduate from a reputed/recognized institute (BE/B. Tech in IT / Computer Science Engineering)
• 2-5 years of experience in L2 operation support.
