Job summary

Infosys in Hyderabad is seeking a hands-on engineer to support enterprise applications in production environments. You will manage Unix/Linux systems, perform troubleshooting, scripting in Python and Shell, and contribute to automation efforts while coordinating with infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities include monitoring, incident resolution, coordination with DB/app teams, handling ServiceNow tickets per SLAs, and maintaining operational docs. A degree in CS/IT/Eng is required.

Qualifications

• Perform routine health checks on servers and components.
• Trouble shoot issues, perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, database and application teams for environmental support.
• Handle ServiceNow tickets in accordance with defined SLAs.
• Support Application services during server patching and maintenance activities.
• Maintain standard operational documentation.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and environmental errors.
