Job summary

Allegis Group is seeking an experienced Application/Production Support professional to manage 24x7 support for Java-based production environments. You will investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with development, operations, and business stakeholders to restore service rapidly.

The role requires hands-on SQL/Unix/Linux troubleshooting, familiarity with REST APIs and microservices, and experience using monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, and Dynatrace.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in Application Support / Production Support roles.
• Strong experience supporting Java-based applications in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Unix/Linux troubleshooting.
• Experience in handling P1/P2 incidents, major incident management, and RCA.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, or Kibana.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Experience working with ServiceNow and ticket-driven support environments.
• Exposure to Banking / Financial Services domain preferred.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 support model and participate in on-call rotations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.

• Analyze application logs, Splunk/AppDynamics dashboards, and Unix/Linux systems to identify root causes.
• Troubleshoot API failures, application performance issues, batch failures, and database-related incidents.
