Job summary

Liebherr CMCtec India Private Limited in Pune, India, is seeking a Procurement professional to maintain purchasing records, prepare reports, and coordinate with suppliers for projects.

The role requires BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Engineering, strong MS Office skills, and good communication in Marathi/English/Hindi, with a focus on on-time delivery and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or similar).
• Verbal communication in Marathi / English/ Hindi.
• Candidate must complete BE/B.Tech or Graduation in equivalent or similar stream – Mechanical/electrical.
• Knowledge about manufacturing operations.
• Awareness of ISO and Industrial Norms.
• India taxation overview (GST, export benefits etc.).
• Knowledge about MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• BAAN software will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain purchasing records and pricing information updated in the system.
• Prepare reports and track the sales demand fluctuation and inventory value.
• Help buyer with day-to-day purchasing tasks.
• Coordinate with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work for projects assigned.
• Handling and monitoring claims to factories and vendors for defectives, shortage, missing parts.
• Support relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of project / product.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Responsible for the preparation and process of purchasing orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items by suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site/store on time.
• Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products.
