Job summary

Altraize is seeking a technically skilled professional to extend support to sales and customers for all technical inquiries while managing projects and seal failure analysis related to performance issues.

The role requires BE in Mechanical Engineering with 5–7 years in Oil & Gas and OEM Sales, plus strong application engineering experience with customer interactions.

Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5–7 years of experience in Oil & Gas and OEM sales.
• Strong background in application engineering and design with customers.

Responsibilities

• Study EAR, customer drawings/specifications, seal selection, and prepare proposal drawings.
• Follow up on proposals with customers for approvals.
• Support seal installation during proto development.
• Investigate seal failures and prepare failure analysis reports with expert guidance.
• Understand customer technical training needs.
• Visit customers with CSR as required.
• Manage projects and maintain project reports.
• Track customer and supplier drawings, standards, quotes, etc.
• Participate in promotional activities and technical seminars.
• Promote new seals in customer applications.
• Process knowledge of Oil & Gas segment.

Job description

Responsibility – To extend technical support to sales/customers for all kind of technical enquiries, manage projects, handling seal failure analysis(performance issue). Has a large technical understanding to respond to customers' requests to safeguard existing business.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• To study the EAR(Engineering action request), customer drawing/technical specification, seal selection and make the proposal drawing for potential customers.
• Follow up on proposal with customer for approval etc
• During proto development, to support the seal installation.
• In case of any seal failure, to study & find out the possible reasons. Sending the failure analysis report taking guidance from experts.
• Understand Customer Technical training
• Visiting the customers along with CSR as & when required
• To handle the projects & maintaining the project report.
• To keep track of customer & supplier drawings, standards, quotes etc.
• Participate in promotional activities like exhibition, technical seminars etc.
• To promote new seals in our customer application.
• Process knowledge of Oil & Gas Segment

Education and Experience

BE in Mechanical Engineering

Exp in Oil & Gas, & OEM Sales with 5-7 Years

Strong work experience in application engineering & design with respective customers

Requirements

• Familiar with CRM Software
• Strong Knowledge on Business Sales and Marketing Practices
• Knowledge in seals, Hydraulics and Pneumatics Systems Preferred
• Process knowledge of Oil & Gas segment.
• Knowledge on Rubber/Plastics products
• Excellent customer focus and understanding of total customer satisfaction
• Ability to lead and motivate customers
