Job summary

DBS Bank in Gurgaon seeks an experienced Trade Finance professional to manage end-to-end client servicing for trade transactions, ensuring high service standards.

You will collaborate with branches, RM teams and internal units to resolve queries, advise on trade products, and ensure timely processing while maintaining risk controls and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Should have working knowledge of Trade Finance products including Documentary Letters of Credit, Standby LCs, Bank Guarantees, reimbursements, fund transfer and SWIFT messaging.
• 7+ years of work experience in handling Trade Finance products.
• Excellent client/customer management skills and business orientation.

Responsibilities

• Client servicing and handholding of Trade Finance transactions; be the single point of contact for clients for all trade transactions.
• Strengthen relationships with branches, Relationship Managers and internal teams to resolve trade queries promptly.
• Own the customer transaction end-to-end and ensure KPIs/KRIs are met per group standards.
• Advise clients on trade transactions and handle all queries/ complaints related to trade.
• Provide guidance and support to the team and identify risk areas with proper mitigations and controls.

• Client Servicing for Trade Finance Operations

Key Accountabilities

• Client servicing and handholding of Trade Finance transactions. Incumbent would be the single point of contact for the client for all trade transactions

Job Duties & Key Requirements

• Capable managing the Customers and handling queries for Trade, Cash and Loan products.
• Strengthen relationship with the various stake holders like branches, Relationship Managers and internal teams to resolve all trade queries and issues promptly
• Own the Customer Transaction end to end
• Ensure that the self KPI s and KRI s are managed and maintained as per the group s expected standards
• Advise the client on the trade transactions
• Handling all types of customer complaints, enquiries Queries. regarding any clarification with respect to trade transactions

Required Experience / Competencies

• Should have working knowledge of various Trade Products related to Documentary Letters of Credit, Standby Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantee, Bank-to-Bank Reimbursements, Fund Transfer, and Swifts
• 7+ years of Work Experience in handling the Trade Finance products
• Excellent Client / Customer management skills, business orientation
• To manage processes and metrics on a day to day basis
• To provide proper guidance and support to the team as required, capability to identify areas of risk and ensure proper mitigates and controls are put in place

Education / Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate / Post-Graduate with relevant work experience in working in the Trade Finance Unit and handling of all the Trade Finance Products
