Job summary

DBS India is seeking an experienced Operations professional for Trade Finance Client Servicing in Bengaluru. The role involves single-point contact for trade transactions, servicing customers, and coordinating with branches and RM teams to resolve trade queries.

Candidates should have 7+ years in Trade Finance products and a strong client management mindset. The role is full-time and based in Bangalore, with regular schedule and seamless end-to-end transaction ownership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of work experience in Trade Finance products.
• Experience handling Documentary Letters of Credit, Standby LCs, Bank Guarantees, reimbursements, fund transfers, and SWIFTs.

Responsibilities

• Capable of managing customers and queries for Trade, Cash and Loan products.
• Strengthen relationships with branches, Relationship Managers and internal teams to resolve trade queries and issues promptly.
• Own the customer transaction end to end, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage KPIs and KRIs per group standards and provide guidance to the team on risk mitigation and controls.
• Advise clients on trade transactions and related services.
• Handle customer complaints and enquiries related to trade transactions.

• Client Servicing for Trade Finance Operations

Key Accountabilities

• Client servicing and handholding of Trade Finance transactions. Incumbent would be the single point of contact for the client for all trade transactions

Job Duties & Key Requirements

• Capable managing the Customers and handling queries for Trade, Cash and Loan products.
• Strengthen relationship with the various stake holders like branches, Relationship Managers and internal teams to resolve all trade queries and issues promptly
• Own the Customer Transaction end to end
• Ensure that the self KPI s and KRI s are managed and maintained as per the group s expected standards
• Advise the client on the trade transactions
• Handling all types of customer complaints, enquiries Queries. regarding any clarification with respect to trade transactions

Required Experience / Competencies

• Should have working knowledge of various Trade Products related to Documentary Letters of Credit, Standby Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantee, Bank-to-Bank Reimbursements, Fund Transfer, and Swifts
• 7+ years of Work Experience in handling the Trade Finance products
• Excellent Client / Customer management skills, business orientation
• To manage processes and metrics on a day to day basis
• To provide proper guidance and support to the team as required, capability to identify areas of risk and ensure proper mitigates and controls are put in place

Education / Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate / Post-Graduate with relevant work experience in working in the Trade Finance Unit and handling of all the Trade Finance Products
