Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance professional for its foundry.

The role focuses on planning and supervising preventive and predictive maintenance, RCA-driven improvements, and ensuring safe, reliable operation of HPML, sand plant, Loramendi core shooters, and associated equipment. Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with Siemens S7-1500 PLCs, WinCC SCADA, HMIs, ABB robots, and SEW drives, along with a strong TPM and Lean mindset to optimize power

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in foundry electrical maintenance required.
• Experience with HPML, Sand plant and Loramendi core shooters.
• Electrical PM planning and preventive maintenance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
• Maintain updated PM schedules and ensure timely execution.
• Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) for failures and implement corrective actions.
• Diagnose PLC logic issues using Siemens S7-1500, WinCC SCADA, and HMI.
• Ensure safe operation and optimal equipment performance across HPML, sand plant, and related machinery.

Job description

• 1. Experience preferably on Kunkel Wagner make HPML ( High Pressure moulding Line) , Sand plant & Loramendi make core shooter machines along with ABB robot operation & maintenance. Andromat working experience will be added advantage. Preferrably Electrical PM incharge of HPML .To Plan and oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all electrical systems.Maintain updated PM schedules and ensure timely execution. Lead root‑cause analysis (RCA) for failures and implement long‑term corrective actions.
• 2. Ablility to diagnose issues by inspecting PLC logic of siemens S7-1500 PLC, WinCC SCADA and HMI required. Experience in SEW- Movitools software for setup of SEW VFD & adjustment of its parameters adjustment, etc.Ensure optimum utilization of equipment to achieve production targets & to create safe working environment to maintain the equipment like HPML /Sand plant/Loramendi core shooters / Instrumentation /PLC programming related.Upkeep of Mold Shop, Sand Plant, Loramendi machinery with Minimum down time, Minimum cost of spares & Power consumption.
• 3. Good working knowledge of High Voltage Equipmet with Power Intensive Loads like Melt shop , Grids, LCSSs, Utilities. Oversee operation and maintenance of: EHV/HV/LT switchgear and substations , 11kV/33kV transformers, Induction melting furnaces & their cooling systems.
• 4. Experience in Digitization, TPM , Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen.Monitor and optimize power consumption across the foundry.
• 5. Knowledge of Legal compliance as per IE/IS/ISO norms.Ensure compliance with CEA Safety Regulations, Indian Electricity Rules, and state CEI guidelines.Maintain documentation for CEI audits, Mahindra audits, and safety certifications.
