Job summary

JobItUs in Ahmedabad, India seeks a hands-on Electrical Maintenance Engineer for foundry/casting plant operations. You will manage electrical maintenance of induction furnaces, die casting, control panels, PLC/VFD systems, and automation processes to ensure optimal uptime.

You will plan preventive and predictive maintenance, attend breakdowns, troubleshoot PLC/VFD circuits, and lead technicians while coordinating with production and engineering. Safety compliance and record keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in foundry/casting plant electrical maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with PLC, VFD, MCC/PCC and control panels.
• Familiarity with induction furnaces and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical maintenance of induction furnace, die casting, shot blasting, fettling and related equipment.
• Handle PLC, VFD, MCC, PCC, control panels, sensors, motors and electrical systems.
• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Attend electrical breakdowns and minimize machine downtime.
• Troubleshoot PLC, VFD and control circuits and automation issues.
• Maintain HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, compressors and utility systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory requirements.
• Maintain maintenance records, spare-parts inventory and equipment history.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality and Engineering for smooth plant operations.
• Drive RCA, MTBF/MTTR improvements and energy-saving initiatives.
• Lead and guide technicians/electricians and manage shift maintenance activities.

• Troubleshoot PLC, VFD, control circuits and automation-related issues.
