Alliance Manager
About the Job
As Alliance Manager, OEMs and Workplace Ecosystem Partners, you will own and grow strategic relationships with Audio Visual (AV) manufacturers, Unified Communications (UC) vendors, and influence partners including project management consultants (PMCs), architects, workplace advisors, and corporate real estate firms. You will shape how Actis gets specified into projects before the sales process begins, and then work alongside our sales and pre-sales teams to convert that influence into closed revenue.
Job Description
- Own OEM and manufacturer relationships: manage strategic partnerships with AV, UC, display, control, audio, and collaboration technology vendors, ensuring Actis remains a preferred integrator partner across key OEM programmes.
- Build your ecosystem partner network: develop and maintain active relationships with PMCs, workplace consultants, architects, and commercial real estate advisory firms such as JLL, Cushman and Wakefield, CBRE, and similar organisations.
- Get into specifications early: influence project specifications upstream through consultant and architect relationships, positioning Actis solutions before tenders and RFPs are issued.
- Develop joint business plans: create structured partnership plans with priority OEM and ecosystem partners that define shared targets, joint go-to-market activities, and mutual accountability for pipeline and revenue.
- Drive co-marketing and enablement: coordinate partner training programmes, co-branded events, and joint marketing initiatives that increase awareness and preference for Actis in target project verticals.
- Manage partner cadence and governance: own regular partner check-ins, quarterly business reviews, and executive engagement to keep relationships active and productive.
- Track and convert partner opportunities: log partner-sourced and partner-influenced opportunities in the CRM, monitor conversion rates, and work closely with sales teams to ensure partner introductions translate into closed business.
- Support commercial coordination: manage rebate programmes, market development fund (MDF) utilisation, pricing frameworks, and other commercial mechanics with OEM partners where applicable.
- Represent Actis externally: attend partner meetings, industry events, and ecosystem forums to build the company's profile and generate new relationship opportunities.
