Job summary

Hasmukh Travel Agent handles domestic and international flight bookings, reservations, cancellations, and refunds, providing accurate ticketing and timely quotations to clients. You will coordinate with airlines and travel suppliers, manage records, and ensure smooth operations for urgent and last-minute travel needs.

The role emphasizes high-quality customer service, adherence to airline policies, and close collaboration with tour, visa and operations teams to meet client travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle domestic and international flight bookings, reservations, cancellations, re-issuance and refunds.
• Prepare airfare quotations based on client requirements.
• Issue flight tickets and ensure all booking details are accurate.
• Handle ticket amendments, date changes, name corrections, no-shows and revalidation as per airline policies.
• Check and advise clients on baggage allowance, fare rules, cancellation charges, visa requirements and travel restrictions.
• Coordinate with airlines, consolidators and travel suppliers for bookings and ticketing-related issues.
• Assist clients with seat selection, meal requests, special assistance and other airline services.
• Maintain proper records of bookings, tickets, invoices, refunds and cancellations.
• Follow up on pending payments, ticketing deadlines and booking confirmations.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve passenger queries promptly.
• Coordinate with the Tour, Visa and Operations teams for smooth handling of client travel requirements.
• Stay updated with airline schedules, fares, routing, travel regulations and industry updates.
