Job summary

Rohan Group invites a Deputy Project Manager Electrical/MEP to lead electrical and MEP activities on site, coordinating with civil and other teams to ensure seamless integration and on-time delivery. You will review drawings, manage contractors, monitor procurement, testing, and commissioning, and drive safety and quality on a busy project in Maharashtra.

The role requires BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, plus strong planning, scheduling and leadership on construction sites.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with project exposure.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and MEP systems and drawings.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, and coordinating with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute electrical and MEP works per drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of MEP activities as per project plan.
• Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Architecture and other teams for MEP integration.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site teams.
• Review drawings, BOQs, material requirements, and submissions.
• Ensure execution per standards, project specs, and compliance.
• Coordinate with consultants/clients for approvals, inspections, and issue resolution.
• Monitor procurement, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Plan resources: manpower, materials, equipment, and contractors.
• Monitor costs and help control MEP expenditure within budget.
• Identify risks and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Ensure quality, safety, statutory compliance, and project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor MEP installation progress.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical and MEP systems.
• Prepare and review reports, progress updates, MIS, and documentation.
• Ensure proper handover of completed MEP works with testing reports and drawings.

• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor the quality and progress of MEP installations.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical and other MEP systems.
