Job summary

D-tech Management Resource is seeking a maintenance professional to manage breakdown and preventive maintenance across a diverse shop floor. The role focuses on planning, analysis, and execution to ensure high machine availability.

You will apply knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and diagnostics to lead cross-functional teams and drive improvements in maintenance efficiency and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Process knowledge and maintenance discipline required.
• Hands-on knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead breakdown analysis and drive counter-measures to reduce MTTR.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for all critical equipment.
• Plan and manage maintenance activities with cross-functional teams.
• Guide and mentor maintenance staff to improve performance and safety.

• Forge shop equipment. - Press, Hammer. 2000T hydraulic Open Die Casting forging Press lines
• Post forging Equipments- Shot blasting machine, surface crack detection.
• Heat treatment shop-Hardening, Normalizing, tempering furnaces.
• Die shop machines
• Compressor house.
• Pump room.
• Utility vehicles- Hydra crane, forklift.

Breakdown Maintenance

• Analysis of break-down trend and feed-back to maintenance member for break-down reduction.
• Verification of break-down analysis and counter-measure taken.
• Timely feed-back and technical support to solve critical break-downs, repeated break-downs
• Co-ordination with external agency to attend break-downs on special machines.

Preventive Maintenance

• To prepare preventive maintenance plan for every machine for efficient operation.
• To modify the preventive maintenance plan after break-down analysis.
• Assuring availability of resources for preventive maintenance activity
• Guide, motivate and demonstrate the maintenance members and workmen for improving the preventive maintenance activity.
• Interact with the vendor for timely completion of preventive maintenance activities for the AMC.

Planning and information Management

• Guide maintenance member for effective planning of work-men as per priority list.
• Control all the information regarding maintenance activities (break-down trends, MTTR, MTBF, preventive maintenance status, preventive maintenance effectiveness, cost trends, energy trends, etc.)
• Give feed-back to all regarding overall performance of maintenance as well as area of strengths and weaknesses.
