Job summary

Idex is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, and startup PD pumps at customer sites across the region. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and train operators to maximize equipment uptime.

The role involves site visits, technical discussions, and ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting targets for pumps, spares, and service contracts. Travel will be frequent to client sites, with collaboration across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and startup PD pumps and related equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical/operational issues and provide effective solutions.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Provide operator and maintenance training to customers.
• Assist spare parts identification and suggest inventory needs.
• Prepare service reports and maintain records.
• Promote best practices to improve longevity; coordinate with engineering teams.
• Generate inquiries and understand customer requirements for PD pump solutions.
• Deliver product presentations, site visits, and technical discussions.
• Meet sales targets for pumps, spares, and service contracts.
• Maintain follow-ups and strengthen relationships to drive repeat business.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Willingness to travel; frequent travel is required.
