Job summary

Aptiv in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Electrical/Electronics Engineer to contribute to Active Safety and User-Experience, leveraging embedded C/C++ for automotive systems. The role demands 10–14 years of hands-on experience, strong AUTOSAR and POSIX skills, knowledge of ASPICE and ISO26262, and the ability to lead technical efforts as a POC within multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Electricals/Electronics/Instrumentation.
• 10 to 14+ years in Embedded C, C++, RTOS, POSIX.
• Working experience in Automotive Domain.
• Exposure to Configuration Management tools (GIT, Plastic).
• Exposure to debug/triaging with microcontroller using debuggers.
• Python Scripting Knowledge.
• AUTOSAR Knowledge.
• Proactive problem solver Desirable.
• Willingness to take high personal responsibility and work independently.
• Automotive Product Development Process knowledge (ASPICE).
• Agile/Scrum principles | ISO26262 Technical Safety Concepts.
• ADAS Knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive products in Active Safety and User-Experience.
• Capable of independently delivering applications as a POC and providing system-level technical leadership.
• Act as a technical role model within the project team; deliver 1–2 complete applications.
• Assist in debug/triaging with microcontrollers using debuggers and plan SW architecture module integration.
