Job summary

Aptiv is seeking an Electrical/Electronics Engineer to design and develop automotive products in Active Safety and User-Experience. The role is based at TCI Bengaluru, with hands-on embedded C development for 16/32-bit micros and Autosar workflows.

Expect working on CAN/LIN/Ethernet, device drivers, and multi-core domains within a safety-critical context. Ideal candidates will have 6–8 years of experience, strong debugging skills, and a collaborative mindset to work in cross-cultural teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in embedded software development using C for 16/32-bit microcontrollers (Infineon, NXP).
• Experience with cross compilers, debuggers/emulators and device driver development.
• Experience with Autosar methodologies and workflows, Power Mode, UDS, Diagnostics, Bootloader.
• Experience with CAN/LIN/FlexRay/Ethernet and related tools like CANalyzer/CANoe.
• Exposure to Automotive standard processes (CMM/ASPICE) and ISO 26262 overview.
• Knowledge of verification tools (static analysis, unit testing).
• Experience with measurement tools: oscilloscope, current probe, signal generators.
• Understanding of multi-core and multi-domain automotive systems.
• Strong focus on vehicle connectivity security aspects.
