Job summary

Aptiv PLC in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an Electrical/Electronics Engineer to design and develop automotive products in Active Safety and User-Experience. The role requires deep expertise in embedded C, Autosar, and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).

You will work with measurement tools and leading debugging environments in a cross-cultural team. Join Aptiv to contribute to safe mobility, high-performance electrification, and data connectivity solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with embedded C for 16/32-bit micros (Renesas, ST, Infineon).
• Understanding of BCM/Gateway domain and communication stacks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Familiarity with Autosar methodologies and workflows.
• Experience with cross compilers, debuggers, and measurement tools.
• Exposure to ASPICE and ISO 26262 safety concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive products in Active Safety and User-Experience.
• Configure and validate CAN/LIN/Ethernet communication stacks.
• Work with autosar, MCAL, IOHAL, and complex drivers.
• Use tools like CANalyzer, CANoe, Trace32, and E1/Lauterbach for debugging.
• Collaborate in cross-cultural teams to deliver safety-critical features.

We’re hiring an Electrical/Electronics Engineer to design and develop our automotive products in the areas of Active Safety and User-Experience. This position is located in TCI.

Your Background:

Rquired Technical Skiils :

• Understanding of BCM/Gateway domain
• Experience in communication stack configuration and design (CAN, LIN,
• Ethernet).
• Experience in Microcontrollers, MCAL, IOHAL, Memory, complex drivers and
• BSW modules.
• Experience in Autosar methodologies and workflows.
• Experience in embedded SW development using C for 16/32-bit micros –
• Renesas, ST, Infineon, etc.
• Experience in cross compilers, debuggers/emulators.
• Hands on experience in CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Power Mode, UDS, Diagnostics,
• Bootloader, communication protocols – CAN/LIN &
• Hands on tools like CANalyzer, CANoe, Debuggers like E1, Lauterbach, Trace32
• Experience in Verification tools- Static analysis tools, Unit Testing tools
• Experience in tools like GIT, Polarion, Jira and Agile process.
• Experience in handling measurement tools like Oscilloscope, Current probe,Signal generators etc.
• Exposure to Automotive standard processes-ASPICE
• Functional safety ISO 26262 overview
• Good Communication Skills
• Good Team player and motivated to work in cross cultural environment
