Job summary

InsightVerge Academy is seeking an Admissions Counsellor to counsel prospective learners and drive enrolments for AI and Intelligent Systems programmes. You will engage leads via calls, video meetings, email, WhatsApp and in-person sessions, guiding candidates from enquiry to application, fee payment and admission.

The role is target-driven with ongoing follow-ups, CRM updates and information-session participation, requiring strong communication and persuasive skills.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience in admissions counselling, education sales, inside sales or consultative selling.
• Proven experience counselling and closing admissions for premium or high-ticket education, certification or professional programmes.
• Exposure to promoting AI, Data Science, Analytics, Technology or other digital-skilling programmes is preferred.
• Strong communication, counselling, persuasion, follow-up and objection-handling skills.
• Comfortable working with individual targets and managing a high volume of candidate interactions.
• Familiarity with CRM, email marketing, WhatsApp engagement and AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Must be based in Hyderabad or willing to relocate immediately.
• Should be able to join within 30–60 days.

• Explain programme curriculum, outcomes, eligibility, fees and the admissions process.
• Follow up consistently with qualified leads and convert them into confirmed admissions.
• Achieve assigned individual enrolment and revenue targets.
• Handle candidate queries, concerns and objections professionally.
• Escalate complex or high-potential leads to the Senior Manager and support joint closure discussions.
• Maintain accurate lead records, follow-up details and pipeline status in the CRM.
• Support candidates with applications, documentation, fee payment and onboarding.
• Participate in webinars, information sessions and programme-promotion activities.
• Support email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and referral campaigns.
• Use AI tools to personalise follow-ups, draft campaign messages and improve counselling scripts.
