Job description

We are looking for a motivated and empathetic Admission Counsellor to guide prospective students through the enrollment process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first approach, and the ability to convert inquiries into successful admissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, career paths, and program benefits
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and inquiries from various channels
• Understand candidate needs and recommend suitable programs
• Follow up with leads and convert them into enrollments
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and update CRM regularly
• Coordinate with internal teams such as marketing, academic, and operations
• Conduct virtual or in-person counselling sessions
• Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field
• 1–5 years of experience in admissions, counselling, sales, or EdTech
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities
• Ability to handle objections and close admissions
• Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office
• Customer-focused with a positive and patient attitude

Preferred Background

• Experience in EdTech, education counselling, or training institutes
• Exposure to career counselling or student advisory roles
