Job summary

MENTOR ME CAREERS in Pune is seeking an Admission Counselor to guide prospective learners through the admissions process, explaining programs, fees and career outcomes. You will respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, and maintain admission records to drive enrollments.

You will conduct consultations, assess candidate needs, and coordinate with training and operations teams, supporting outreach activities such as webinars and campus visits while aiming to meet enrollment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably in business or education.
• On-site work in Pune Division with strong organizational skills and basic computer proficiency.

Role Description

The Admission Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. The counselor will guide prospective learners through the admissions process by providing accurate information about programs, fees, and career outcomes, and by responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations, explaining course offerings, assessing candidate needs, and recommending suitable programs. The role involves maintaining admission records, following up with leads, coordinating with training and operations teams, and supporting outreach activities such as webinars, campus visits, and info sessions. The Admission Counselor will also contribute to meeting enrollment targets while ensuring a positive and supportive experience for all applicants.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills for effective engagement with prospective learners and stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide supportive, timely, and accurate assistance throughout the admissions process.
• Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage inquiries, convert leads into enrollments, and meet admission targets ethically and transparently.
• Candidates should possess Education-related awareness or experience to clearly explain programs, learning outcomes, and career pathways.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in business, education, or related fields.
• Ability to work on-site in Pune Division, with strong organizational skills and basic computer proficiency (CRM tools, spreadsheets, email).
• Prior experience in admissions, counseling, sales, or education services is preferred but not mandatory.
