Job summary

Aakash Educational Services (AESL) in Tamil Nadu seeks an Admission Officer – Sales & Marketing to drive lead generation through ATL/BTL activities, seminars, and school open houses, guiding students and parents through counselling and admissions. The role requires strong English and Tamil, excellent presentation and networking skills, and willingness to travel for school visits and home consultations.

You will collaborate with local tutors to capitalize on opportunities and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Must have bachelor's degree.
• Preferred BTech / MBA / Masters in Psychology, Education etc.
• Previous experience in counselling in education or careers counselling.
• Previous experience of B2C sales across industries.

Responsibilities

• Generate admissions by conducting ATL/BTL marketing activities such as seminars in schools and open seminars in town.
• Meet principals, coordinators and management for business development during school visits.
• Counsel students and parents during home visits and close admissions.
• Liaise with local tuition teachers to capitalize on business opportunities.
• Adhere to internal processes and compliances.

Purpose of the Admission Officer- Sales & Marketing role:

Admission officer is responsible for lead generation through variety of marketing activities resulting in counselling and enrolling the students.

As an Admission Officer- Sales & Marketing, you are expected to:

1. 1. Generate admissions by conducting Above the Line (ATL) & Below The Line (BTL) marketing activities such as- seminars in schools, open seminars in town & residential spots.
2. 2. Contribute towards set targets by doing school visits for meeting principals, coordinators & management personals for business development.
3. 3. Ensure a delightful customer experience while going for home visits to counsel students and parents & close admissions.
4. 4. Capitalize on business opportunities by liaising with local tuition teachers.
5. 5. Ensure adherence to internal process and compliances.

To be successful in the Admission Officer- Sales & Marketing role you are required to have:

1. 1. Ability to handle customers in an empathic & patient manner.
2. 2. Must have strong sales persuasion skills.
3. 3. Excellent networking and presentation skills to conduct seminars.
4. 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and writing emails, & comfortable while working on software related to sales & services.
