Job summary

Leverage Edu is seeking an Admission Counsellor to join our Admissions/Sales team in Noida. You will counsel prospective students, map their goals to online degree programmes, and guide them through the admissions journey.

You will connect with leads via calls and other channels, explain programmes, eligibility, and fee structures, and follow up to convert admissions while maintaining CRM records and ensuring a high-quality student experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in admission counselling or EdTech sales.
• Experience selling online degree programmes preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Target-driven with ability to work in a sales-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective students via inbound/outbound calls and other channels.
• Counsel on online degree programmes (MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, BA, MA).
• Explain programme details, eligibility, admissions, fees and university credentials.
• Understand student career goals and advise suitable programmes.
• Follow up with leads to convert admissions.
• Assist students through application, documentation and enrolment.
• Maintain CRM lead information with timely updates.
• Meet monthly admission and revenue targets.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Admission Counsellor with 6 months to 1 year of experience in online higher education. The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, understanding their educational and career goals, and guiding them towards suitable online degree programmes offered by recognised universities.

Key Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective students through inbound and outbound calls, leads and other communication channels.
• Counsel students regarding online degree programmes such as MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, BA, MA and other postgraduate courses.
• Explain programme details, eligibility criteria, admission procedures, fee structures and university credentials.
• Understand students' career aspirations and recommend suitable higher education programmes.
• Follow up with interested candidates and convert leads into successful admissions.
• Assist students throughout the application, documentation and enrolment process.
• Maintain regular follow-ups and update lead information in the CRM.
• Achieve assigned monthly admission and revenue targets.
• Ensure a positive student experience through timely and accurate communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline. Postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in admission counselling, education counselling or EdTech sales.
• Prior experience in selling online degree programmes such as MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA or other UG/PG courses will be preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong convincing, negotiation and lead-conversion abilities.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, CRM tools and Google Workspace.
• Target-oriented, self-motivated and comfortable working in a sales-driven environment.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with experience in online higher education companies such as upGrad, Great Learning, Hike Education, College Vidya, Simplilearn or similar organisations will be preferred.
• Should have a basic understanding of online and distance education programmes.
• Should be comfortable handling students and working professionals.
• Should have a proactive approach towards lead follow-ups and admissions conversion.
