Job summary

Oben Electric Vehicles in Bangalore seeks an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to manage end-to-end receivables, ensure timely collections and maintain accurate customer accounts. The role requires hands-on SAP B1 expertise and strong knowledge of GST/TDS compliance.

In this position you will monitor AR ageing, coordinate with sales and logistics, prepare ageing and collection reports, and support month-end/year-end closing with a focus on optimizing working capital.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Receivable within automotive, EV, or manufacturing industries.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1) is mandatory.
• Strong invoicing, billing, collections and customer reconciliation knowledge.
• Knowledge of GST and TDS and related regulations.
• Experience in AR ageing and collections follow-ups.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete Accounts Receivable cycle including invoicing, billing, collections and reconciliation.
• Handle customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
• Monitor AR ageing and follow up on overdue payments.
• Perform customer ledger reconciliation and resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
• Manage credit notes, debit notes and customer adjustments.
• Coordinate with sales, logistics and commercial teams to resolve invoice/payment issues.
• Maintain accurate customer transaction records and timely SAP B1 entries.
• Prepare periodic AR ageing and collection reports and statements.
• Monitor customer credit limits and payment terms.
• Support month-end/year-end closing activities related to receivables.
• Ensure GST/TDS and other statutory compliance.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable professional with a strong background in the automobile or manufacturing industry and hands‑on experience working on SAP Business One (SAP B1). The candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end receivables cycle, ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate customer accounts and supporting effective working capital management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete Accounts Receivable cycle, including invoicing, billing, collections and reconciliation.
• Handle customer account management and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
• Monitor accounts receivable ageing and follow up on overdue payments.
• Perform customer ledger reconciliation and resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
• Manage credit notes, debit notes and customer adjustments.
• Coordinate with sales, logistics and commercial teams to resolve invoice and payment-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and ensure timely accounting entries in SAP B1.
• Prepare periodic AR ageing reports, collection reports and outstanding statements.
• Monitor customer credit limits and payment terms.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to receivables.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve collection efficiency and reduce outstanding receivables.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably within the automobile, automotive components or manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on working experience in SAP Business One (SAP B1) is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of invoicing, billing, collections and customer reconciliation.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS and other applicable financial regulations.
• Experience in managing AR ageing and collection follow-ups.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates currently working in the automobile, EV, automotive components or manufacturing industry.
• Professionals with practical exposure to SAP B1 and end-to-end AR operations.
