Job summary

Mettler Toledo in Mumbai seeks an Accounts Payable professional to manage invoice validation, exceptions, and vendor communications while ensuring SAP MIRO/FB60 accuracy and vendor account analysis. The role requires 1–2 years of AP experience and strong MS Office skills.

The successful candidate will work with a global team in a collaborative, inclusive environment with growth opportunities and a focus on productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Accounts Payable process experience.
• SAP experience in MIRO and FB60 for invoice processing.
• Ability to analyze vendor accounts in FBL1N and maintain MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Validate vendor invoices in SAP OpenText (VIM) and ensure three-way match.
• Manage invoice exceptions for PO and non-PO invoices.
• Handle urgent requests from MT units and resolve discrepancies via email.
• Mailbox handling and resolving block invoices; freight invoice booking in SAP.
• Meet productivity and quality benchmarks and communicate with vendors.

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

• Validating Vendor Invoices in VIM (SAP OpenText)
• Managing invoice exceptions (ones that did not fulfil the 3-way match and VIM criteria) for PO and Non-PO invoices in VIM (Key Responsibility)
• Handling urgent requests from the respective MT units
• Mail Box Handling , resolving Block Invoices
• Freight invoice booking in SAP systems
• Communication with vendor through email to resolve discrepancies
• Meeting productivity and quality benchmarks defined from time to time

What You Need to Succeed

Educational Qualification

• Graduate in Commerce

Technical Skills

• Accounts Payable process experience of 1-2 years
• SAP experience in invoice processing through MIRO/FB60
• Doing analysis of vendor account in FBL1N
• Basic knowledge about MS word, excel and PowerPoint

Soft Skills

• Effective communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
• Strong process knowledge with focus on improving productivity and processes
