Job summary

Salisons in India is seeking an experienced Head of Accounts to supervise the entire accounts department and lead an accounting team within a manufacturing setup. You will oversee invoicing, input of purchase invoices, and comprehensive bookkeeping to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role encompasses GST/TDS filings, bank reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements, with a focus on timely reporting to management and audit coordination.

Qualifications

• Experienced in Accounting Management.
• Experience in Manufacturing environment, preferably in food processing industry.
• Experience in leading Accounting executive team.
• Strong understanding in Accounting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the complete accounts department and accounts executive.
• Oversee sales invoicing, purchase invoices entry and any and all bookkeeping activity of the company.
• Oversee reconciliation bank and cash with books of accounts.
• GSTR filing activity and reconciliation, TDS filing data preparation, and any Books of accounts related regulatory compliance co-ordination and data provision.
• Timely reconciliation for whole of Books of accounts for any errors and quality of data.
• Inventory bookkeeping and reconciliation including stock-taking verification process.
• Monitor and identify revenue-leakage and audit health of expenditure timely.
• Accounts Receivable & Payable supervision and management.
• Salary sheet preparation for salary payouts.
• Preparation of financial statements of the company.
• Timely monthly accounts reports to the management.
• Provide accurate data as well as independently co-ordinate with audit team/consultants of the firm.
• Third-party inventory management and co-ordination for Job Work activities.
