Job description

We are looking for an Accounts cum HR Executive who will primarily own our day-to-day accounting and statutory compliance, while also supporting core HR functions. This is a dual-responsibility role suited to someone who is meticulous with numbers and compliance, but equally comfortable handling people-related processes.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Taxation (Primary)

• Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally (Tally Prime), including day-to-day entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Generate and manage e-way bills for material movement and dispatches
• Handle TDS computation, deduction, and return filing
• Manage vendor and customer invoicing, payments, and outstanding follow-ups
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements and assist with day-to-day banking operations
• Support month-end and year-end closing, and coordinate with auditors and CA for statutory/tax audits
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions and statutory filings
• Assist in budgeting, expense tracking, and MIS reporting as required by management

HR (Secondary)

• Support recruitment activities sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers
• Calculate and process monthly salaries, including statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT, TDS)
• Maintain employee records, offer letters, appointment letters, attendance, and leave registers
• Assist with statutory HR compliance (PF, ESI, labour law registers, etc.)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field
• 26 years of hands-on experience in accounting, with working knowledge of Tally
• Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, e-way bill filing, and other applicable taxation laws
• Prior exposure to payroll processing and basic HR documentation is a strong plus
• Proficient in MS Excel and general computer operations
• Willingness to take on HR-related tasks in addition to core accounting responsibilities
