Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India is seeking a CA with strong Ind AS knowledge and GAAP difference awareness to handle complex accounting engagements. You will research technical issues, prepare Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP compliant statements, and work with ERP systems to derive data-driven insights.

Ideal candidates will have exposure to COSO/SOX controls and be comfortable working with large data sets within ERP environments such as SAP/S4HANA, Oracle, and MS Dynamics.

Qualifications

• Must have solid knowledge of Ind AS and GAAP differences from IFRS to Ind AS.
• Should be able to prepare Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP compliant financial statements including consolidated statements.
• Should keep up to date with Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP pronouncements and related laws and regulations.
• Exposure to Internal Control over Financial Reporting (COSO) and SOX.
• ERP exposure with SAP/S4HANA/Oracle/MS Dynamics is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply Ind AS and other GAAPs to engagements and research complex accounting issues.
• Prepare Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP compliant financial statements including consolidated statements.
• Stay updated on pronouncements and regulatory changes related to Ind AS/ IFRS/ US GAAP.
• Demonstrate knowledge of internal controls over financial reporting (COSO/SOX).
• Must handle ERP systems like SAP/S4HANA/Oracle/MS Dynamics and present insights from data.

Role & responsibilities

Technical Capability: Must have an excellent knowledge of Ind AS with good knowledge of differences from IFRS to Ind AS. Exposure and knowledge of US GAAP will be an advantage.

• Must be able to apply relevant accounting standards, independently execute Ind AS engagements while also researching into complex technical accounting issues.
• Should have or should be able to prepare Ind AS/ IFRS/ US GAAP compliant financial statements includingconsolidatedfinancial statements.
• Shoulddemonstrateknowledge of applicable laws and regulations and keep up to date with new pronouncements relating to Ind AS/ IFRS/ US GAAP.
• Should have good exposure to understanding of Internal Control over Financial Reporting. Exposure to SOX and COSO framework.
• Must have exposure to ERP like SAP/ S4 HANA/ Oracle/ MS Dynamics etc.
• Must have good MS office skills and able to work with volume of data and present insights.
• Exposure to ERP like SAP/ S4 HANA/ Oracle/ MS Dynamics etc. will be an advantage
• Must have an excellent knowledge of Ind AS with good knowledge of GAAP differences between IFRS and Ind AS. Exposure and knowledge of US GAAP will be an advantage.
