HITACHI VANTARA INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a qualified accounting advisory professional based in Bengaluru. The role requires strong IFRS and Indian Accounting Standards knowledge, with exposure to US GAAP advantageous.

You will execute Ind AS engagements, research complex technical issues, and prepare Ind AS/IFRS/IGAAP/USGAAP compliant financial statements, including consolidated reports. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent presentation and communication skills,

Qualifications

• BCom honours graduate; CA/CPA would be an added advantage.
• Ability to prioritize, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity.
• Proactive, result-oriented team player with good presentation and communication skills.
• Fluency in written and verbal English.
• Willingness to travel.
• Open and honest communication with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients to exceed expectations.
• Prepare Ind AS/IFRS/IGAAP/USGAAP compliant financial statements, including consolidated statements.
• Apply relevant accounting standards and research complex technical accounting issues.
• Stay updated on Ind AS/IFRS regulations and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Leverage ERP systems (Oracle/SAP) and MS Office to present insights.

Job description

What Impact You Will Make

As a part of the Accounting Advisory team, you will build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations.

• Technical capability: Must have a good knowledge of IFRS and Indian Accounting standards. Exposure and knowledge of US GAAP will be an advantage.
• Must be able to apply relevant accounting standards, execute Ind AS engagements while also researching into complex technical accounting issues.
• Should be able to prepare Ind AS/ IFRS/IGAAP/ USGAAP compliant financial statements including consolidated financial statements.
• Should demonstrate knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and keep up-to-date with new pronouncements relating to Ind AS/IFRS.
• Should have exposure to understanding of Internal Financial Controls over Financial Reporting.
• Exposure to ERP such as Oracle/SAP shall be an added benefit.
• Must have good MS office skills and be able to work with volume of data and present insights.
• Leadership Capability: Train, coach and develop teams to upgrade their knowledge and skill sets and take ownership of the activities assigned and contribute towards the growth of the firm.
