Job summary

BIG4 in Mumbai is hiring for an Accounting Advisory role (CA) focused on Ind AS, IFRS and US GAAP. The candidate should have 8+ years of experience and deep technical accounting knowledge to independently execute Ind AS engagements and prepare consolidated financial statements.

The role requires up-to-date understanding of accounting regulations, exposure to internal controls (SOX/COSO), ERP experience (SAP/S4 HANA, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and strong MS Office skills to analyze large data volumes

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Ind AS and its differences from IFRS.
• Ability to prepare Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP financial statements including consolidation.
• Keep up to date with Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP pronouncements and regulations.
• Experience with Internal Control over Financial Reporting (SOX/COSO).
• Auditing experience under Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP.
• Exposure to Banks, NBFCs, Fintech sectors.

Responsibilities

• Execute Ind AS engagements independently and research complex issues.
• Prepare accounting reports and diagnostic papers.
• Assist hedge accounting, ECL advisory/testing.
• Audit financial statements under Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP.

Role : Hiring for Accounting Advisory (CA) - Ind AS/ IFRS/ US GAAP

Experience : 8 +

• Technical Capability: Must have an excellent knowledge of Ind AS with good knowledge of differences from IFRS to Ind AS. Exposure and knowledge of US GAAP will be an advantage.Must be able to apply relevant accounting standards, independently execute Ind AS engagements while also researching into complex technical accounting issues.
• Should have or should be able to prepare Ind AS/ IFRS/ US GAAP compliant financial statements including consolidated financial statements.
• Should demonstrate knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and keep up to date with new pronouncements relating to Ind AS/ IFRS/ US GAAP.
• Should have good exposure to understanding of Internal Control over Financial Reporting. Exposure to SOX and COSO framework.
• Must have exposure to ERP like SAP/ S4 HANA/ Oracle/ MS Dynamics etc.
• Must have good MS office skills and able to work with volume of data and present insights.

• CA with experience Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP implementation, hedge accounting, ECL advisory or testing, Ind AS 109/IFRS 9
• Extensive experience of auditing financial statements under Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP.
• Sectors worked upon- Banks, NBFCs, Fintech Companies for majority of his/her work experience
• Well versed with technical accounting literature.
• Preparing accounting white papers or diagnostic reports would be required
