Job summary

10XTD in Mumbai is seeking an Accounting Advisory Specialist at assistant/deputy/manager level to work on Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP engagements, hedge accounting, ECL advisory and statutory reporting. The role involves applying accounting standards, auditing financial statements, and presenting data-driven insights.

ERP exposure (SAP/S4HANA, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and strong MS Office skills are required, with 1–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• CA with Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP experience.
• Experience in hedge accounting and ECL advisory or testing.
• Auditing financial statements under Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP.
• Experience in Banks, NBFCs, fintech sectors.
• Strong MS Excel and data presentation skills.
• Knowledge of Internal Control frameworks (COSO).

Responsibilities

• Apply accounting standards to engagements independently and research complex issues.
• Prepare Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP compliant financial statements, including consolidated statements.
• Audit and validate financial statements under applicable frameworks.
• Develop accounting white papers or diagnostic reports as needed.

Opportunity for Accounting Advisory Specialist

Your work profile (Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, Manager Roles)

• Technical Capability: Must have an excellent knowledge of Ind AS with good knowledge of differences from IFRS to Ind AS. Exposure and knowledge of US GAAP will be an advantage.


• Must be able to apply relevant accounting standards, independently execute Ind AS engagements while also researching into complex technical accounting issues.


• Should have or should be able to prepare Ind AS/ IFRS/ US GAAP compliant financial statements including consolidated financial statements.


• Should demonstrate knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and keep up to date with new pronouncements relating to Ind AS/ IFRS/ US GAAP.


• Should have good exposure to understanding of Internal Control over Financial Reporting.


• Exposure to SOX and COSO framework.


• Must have exposure to ERP like SAP/ S4 HANA/ Oracle/ MS Dynamics etc.


• Must have good MS office skills and able to work with volume of data and present insights.


• CA with experience Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP implementation, hedge accounting, ECL advisory or testing, Ind AS 109/IFRS 9


• Extensive experience of auditing financial statements under Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP.


• Experience in Sectors worked upon- Banks, NBFCs, Fintech Companies for majority of his/her work experience


• Well versed with technical accounting literature.


• Preparing accounting white papers or diagnostic reports would be required
