Job summary

Deloitte & Touche GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 4-5 years of experience in Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP implementation to join the Assurance team in Mumbai. The role involves applying standards, preparing financial statements, and researching complex accounting issues.

Candidate should have exposure to ERP systems such as SAP/S4HANA, Oracle, or MS Dynamics, and strong MS Office skills for data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• CA with 4-5 years of Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP implementation experience.
• Experience in hedge accounting, ECL advisory/testing, Ind AS 109/IFRS 9.
• Auditing financial statements under Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP.
• Sector exposure: Banks, NBFCs, Fintech preferred.
• Well-versed with technical accounting literature.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP financial statements including consolidated statements.
• Apply accounting standards and research complex issues independently.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and pronouncements.
• Demonstrate understanding of internal controls and SOX/COSO framework.
• Produce accounting white papers or diagnostic reports.

• Technical Capability: Must have an excellent knowledge of Ind AS with good knowledge of differences from IFRS to Ind AS. Exposure and knowledge of US GAAP will be an advantage.Must be able to apply relevant accounting standards, independently execute Ind AS engagements while also researching into complex technical accounting issues.
• Should have or should be able to prepare Ind AS/ IFRS/ US GAAP compliant financial statements including consolidated financial statements.
• Should demonstrate knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and keep up to date with new pronouncements relating to Ind AS/ IFRS/ US GAAP.
• Should have good exposure to understanding of Internal Control over Financial Reporting. Exposure to SOX and COSO framework.
• Must have exposure to ERP like SAP/ S4 HANA/ Oracle/ MS Dynamics etc.
• Must have good MS office skills and able to work with volume of data and present insights.

Education - CA
• CA with 4-5 years of experience Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP implementation, hedge accounting, ECL advisory or testing, Ind AS 109/IFRS 9• Extensive experience of auditing financial statements under Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP.
