Job summary

Re-Sustainability is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 10 years of Ind AS, IFRS, and financial reporting experience to lead complex accounting matters and ensure accurate, transparent reporting.

You will prepare and review financial statements under Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP, develop accounting policies, supervise audits, and advise on contracts and major transactions for strategic financial alignment. This role is based in Hyderabad, India.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of Ind AS, IFRS, financial reporting, and audit experience.
• Deep knowledge of Ind AS framework and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to develop and update accounting policies and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review technical accounting, financial reporting, and auditing memorandums.
• Evaluate accounting treatment for complex financial instruments under applicable standards.
• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure Ind AS compliance.
• Supervise consolidated and separate financial statements under Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP.
• Develop, review, and implement accounting policies aligned with Ind AS and other frameworks.
• Advise on significant contracts and complex transactions, including revenue recognition and leases.

Responsible for implementing and maintaining IND AS policies and procedures, providing guidance on complex accounting matters, and ensuring accurate and transparent financial reporting

Competencies: Domain Functional Technical Leadership

Ind AS & Financial Reporting: Strong knowledge of the Ind AS framework, accounting principles, financial reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance.

Ind AS Compliance & Policy: Expertise in Ind AS compliance, accounting policy development and updates, technical accounting analysis, and implementation of accounting requirements.

Stakeholder Management: Effective stakeholder engagement and communication with finance teams, auditors, management, and other key stakeholders.

F&A Tools & Data Analytics: Proficiency in finance and accounting tools, financial data analysis, interpretation of financial information, and insights-driven decision‑making.

Business Acumen & Strategic Orientation: Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand business requirements, manage change, solve complex problems, and align financial reporting with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
