Job summary

UTI Mutual Fund in Mumbai requires an experienced Payroll and Benefits Lead to manage end-to-end monthly payroll, PF, PT, IT, and related statutory compliance. The role focuses on accurate payroll accounting and tight governance.

The ideal candidate will bring 12-15 years in payroll, employee benefits, and statutory compliance, with strong vendor/stakeholder management, analytical prowess, and a drive for automation and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years of relevant experience in Payroll, Employee Benefits, and Statutory Compliance.
• Sound knowledge of PF, PT, Income Tax, and payroll accounting.
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and process improvement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end monthly payroll processing and vendor coordination
• Payroll reconciliation, variance analysis, and compliance checks
• Administration of PF, leave encashment, medical benefits, and employee loan schemes
• Management of Professional Tax, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances
• Ensure adherence to SEBI Mutual Fund regulations related to employee compensation
• Coordination with auditors and management of payroll audits
• Preparation of payroll MIS, statutory reports, and employee benefit records
• Drive process improvements, automation, and stronger payroll controls
• 12-15 years of relevant experience in Payroll, Employee Benefits, and Statutory Compliance
