Job summary

Sashr Consultants in Mumbai hires a Manager Payroll & Benefits with 10+ years of experience to lead end-to-end payroll processing, reimbursements, and benefits administration.

You will oversee EPF, PF, PT, income tax compliance, coordinate with outsourcing partners, and ensure timely filings, audits, and reporting.

MBA (Finance) or M.Com required; strong analytical, coordination and communication skills essential to drive process improvements and vendor management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Payroll, Compensation & Benefits and Statutory Compliance.
• MBA (Finance) or M.Com preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll, taxation, PF and employee benefits.
• Experience in managing payroll vendors and audits.
• Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Management: end-to-end monthly payroll processing, accurate salary computation and deductions, reconciliation with outsourcing agency, reimbursements and benefits review.
• Employee Benefits & Compliance: manage EPF, leave encashment, medical benefits and loans/advances; PF accounting, statements and related documentation; ensure statutory filings and returns.
• Audit & Reporting: coordinate with auditors and payroll vendors; maintain accurate payroll and benefits records; prepare monthly, quarterly and annual payroll reports.
• Process Improvement: identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Management

• Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing.
• Ensure accurate salary computation, deductions and payouts.
• Reconcile payroll data and coordinate with the payroll outsourcing agency.
• Review employee reimbursements and benefits.

Employee Benefits & Compliance

• Manage EPF, leave encashment, medical benefits and employee loans/advances.
• Handle PF accounting, statements and related documentation.
• Manage Professional Tax, income tax and other statutory compliances.
• Ensure timely statutory filings and returns.

Audit & Reporting

• Coordinate with auditors and payroll vendors.

Process Improvement
