Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet.
• Hands-on MIS reporting and month-end reporting experience.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Dashboards.
• Good analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Core Accounting & Financial Reporting: manage day-to-day accounting activities, journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• MIS Reporting & Analysis: prepare MIS reports, analyze variances, provide insights to management.
• Advanced Excel & Data Management: create financial reports using VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and dashboards.
• Month-End Closing & Reconciliation: assist in month-end closing and ensure timely financial statements.
• Manufacturing Finance Support: support accounting for manufacturing operations, inventory, purchases, and expenses.

Role & responsibilities

1. Core Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliation.
• Prepare and maintain Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, and Balance Sheet.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting records and compliance with accounting fundamentals.
• Support month-end closing and timely financial reporting.

2. MIS Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare regular MIS reports to support management decision-making.
• Analyze financial data, identify variances, and provide relevant insights to the management.
• Maintain accurate and timely reporting of financial performance.

3. Advanced Excel & Data Management

• Prepare financial reports using Advanced Excel.
• Work on VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Excel Dashboards.
• Manage large data sets and create analytical reports for finance and management.
• Improve reporting accuracy and efficiency through Excel-based solutions.

4. Month-End Closing & Reconciliation

• Assist in month-end closing activities and preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Reconcile ledgers and ensure all accounting entries are updated before reporting deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies.

5. Manufacturing Finance Support

• Support accounting activities related to manufacturing operations, inventory, purchases, and expenses.
• Coordinate with relevant departments for accurate financial data and documentation.
• Assist in maintaining financial records for the manufacturing business.

Required Skills & Qualifications
