Job summary

Classic Polo Smart Pvt Ltd in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu seeks an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee accounting operations, P&L prep, financial reporting, and audits. The role requires strong GST, TDS, taxation knowledge and expertise in finalization of accounts and statutory audits.

The ideal candidate will manage month-end closures, budgets, and provide insights on variances while coordinating with auditors and tax consultants to ensure robust controls.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of P&L and Balance Sheet preparation.
• Solid understanding of audit procedures and internal controls.
• Expertise in GST, TDS and taxation.
• Proficient with Tally/ERP and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
• Prepare and review Monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and MIS reports.
• Analyze P&L variances and provide management insights.
• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors and Tax Consultants.
• Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents and audit working papers.
• Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly and annual closing.
• Conduct ledger scrutiny, reconciliation and review of outstanding balances.
• Monitor Receivables, Payables, Bank Reconciliation and Cash Flow.
• Ensure proper accounting controls and compliance with company policies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation for audit and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with HO, banks, auditors and other external agencies.

Qualification

• 7–12 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing, apparel, retail or trading.

Preferred Profile: Candidates with hands-on experience in P&L, Audit, GST, taxation, finalization of accounts and management reporting will be preferred.
