Job summary

HR Equity Talent Hiring Partners in India seeks a Chartered Accountant to oversee daily accounting activities and lead the end-to-end preparation and finalization of year-end financial statements.

The role requires strong knowledge of GST, TDS, ITR, and regulatory guidelines, effective liaison with tax authorities, and oversight of audits. You will also develop MIS reports and support senior leadership with budgeting and cash-flow forecasting.

Qualifications

• CA or Inter-CA / Semi-qualified candidates (CA Dropped) accepted.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting activities and finalise year-end financial statements.

• Manage direct and indirect tax compliance including GST, TDS, and ITR.
• Coordinate internal, statutory, and tax audits and maintain audit trails.

Job description

• Oversee daily accounting activities and lead the end-to-end preparation and finalization of year-end financial statements.
• Ensure strict alignment with standard statutory accounting principles and regulatory guidelines.
• Statutory Compliance & Taxation
• Manage comprehensive direct and indirect tax compliances.
• Responsibilities include timely GST filings, TDS compliance, and preparation of Income Tax Returns (ITR).
• Serve as the primary point of contact to liaise with external tax consultants and relevant tax authorities.
• Auditing & Assurance
• Coordinate, facilitate, and lead all internal, statutory, and tax audits.
• Ensure that meticulous audit trails are established and robust documentation is consistently maintained across all financial functions.
• MIS & Budgeting
• Develop, analyze, and present deep financial insights to management.
• Prepare comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) reports and actively assist senior leadership with corporate annual budgeting exercises and proactive cash-flow forecasting.

Qualifications

• Degree / Certification Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) OR Inter-CA / Semi-qualified candidates / CA Dropped

Required Skills

• Technical Skills Proficiency with modern accounting ERP systems and software like Tally Prime and SAP B1
• Soft Skills Strong analytical capabilities, leadership qualities, and strategic communication skills
• Languages Spoken Hindi Speaking (Preferably Marwari)

Preferred Skills

• Preferred Industry Experience Professional experience within public listed companies or the manufacturing sector is highly preferred and will be considered a distinct advantage for larger-scale firms.
